Hello, Fluffernutters!

I am so excited to announce that Kodiak’s story is finally on its way to being told. Kodiak came to me as a feral foster puppy and I never let him leave. He was sweet, smart, ridiculously cute, and afraid of the world. He managed to overcome a lot of those fears and live a life full of love, fun, and adventure.

Unfortunately, Kodiak developed epilepsy, with seizures starting when he was just 4 years old. We struggled to find the right medications to help him, but the disease took him from me not long after he turned 8.

Kodiak’s story, which is told from his perspective, will be released on August 26, 2022, International Dog Day. A portion of the proceeds from the preorders currently available in the shop will be donated in Kodiak’s name to the North Carolina State University Vet School Seizure Studies Fund. The vets there treated both Kodiak and Duncan (Kodiak’s big brother) for seizures, and have also treated several other pets over the years.

If you would like your pet’s name included on the donation, please let me know.

Below you can see the announcement video where I cry a lot and talk about why I’m writing his story.
